Spray foam insulation offers a very higher R-Value comparing to the other insulations. There are three kinds of spray foam insulation available in New Hampshire market. They are polyurethane roofing foam, the closed cell spray foam insulation, open cell spray foam insulation and the UTC 7040–05 open cell spray foam insulation.

The polyurethane roofing foam is rigid insulation which seals all the holes in the roof of the house. Thus the durability of the roof also increases. The closed cell foam insulation is semi rigid having a density of 1.91b. This spray foam has the highest R-Value of about 6.9 per inch. No other spray foam has such a higher R-Value.

Open cell spray foam insulation is soft as well as flexible. It has an R-Value ranging from 3.4 to 3.8 per inch.
