In Ver­mont on Feb­ru­ary 17th of 2009 an eco­nomic stim­u­lus bill was signed by the pres­i­dent Obama which came to be known as the Amer­i­can Recov­ery and Rein­vest­ment Act. This act included the rebates for the improve­ments made in the roofs, win­dows, doors as well as the attic and ceil­ings insulation.

This act also stated to pay the home own­ers the tax credit in energy that would carry out these improve­ments in their Ver­mont home for up to 30 per­cent of their cost of insu­la­tion or a max­i­mum of up to $1500. Con­tinue read­ing “Insu­la­tion for Ver­mont Homes” »
